Helium-very sensitive-for the smallest leaks

The new graphical display universal Helium leak detector model ASM 142 is the end result of an innovative engineering approach using the latest electronic technologies and vacuum concepts.

Hydrogen- medium sensitivity

Hydrogen gas has a number of unique properties which make it an excellent trace gas for use in leak detection and testing:

• The lightest of all molecules
• Lowest viscosity of all gases (easy to fill, evacuate and dissipate)
• Low background (0.5 ppm)
• Environmentally friendly and renewable
• Inexpensive
• Non flammable (when diluted 5% in Nitrogen)
• Non toxic - non corrosive
• Has a high sensitivity down to 5x10E-7 ml/s

Pressure Decay - more sensitive than a bubble test.

Pressure Rise / Pressure Decay Systems

Absolute or differential measurement. Automatic or semi automatic operation. Less sensitive than a Helium or Hydrogen leak detection system but a very cost effective solution for less demanding applications.
