Mink MM rotary lobe vacuum pumps were developed especially for use in industrial applications where constant vacuum, high suction capacity and completely oil-free compression are required. These vacuum pumps have non--touching rotary lobes: neither oil nor water is needed within the compression chamber.

Maintenance-Free Because of the non-touching action of the pump no wear takes place. This results in no maintenance work such as checking or replacing wearing parts, oil and filter changes, inspection of water level etc.

Economical
The very high efficiency of the vacuum pumps compared with conventional pumps result in considerable savings in energy. No maintenance work also result in low cost of ownership.

Principle of Operation

Two rotary lobes rotate in opposite directions within a housing. The special geometrical shape of the lobes allows the ingested air to be compressed within the pump. As the lobes rotate constantly, air is sucked in, compressed in the compression chamber and discharged under pressure. Air is discharged through the silencer. The non-return valve incorporated into the inlet flange prevents air from back flowing into the vacuum chamber when the pump is witched off. Mink MM rotary lobe vacuum pumps are directly driven by a flanged motor; the two lobes are synchronized by a gear. A large variety of accessories ensures an optimum adaptation to every application.
