The reduced footprint of the VMD560 has proven to be very popular with customers where laboratory space is limited.

The VMD560 also offers all the features and benefits of Vacuum Metal Deposition for customers with a limited budget.

Both the VMD560 and VMD900 feature as standard:

High performance vacuum system to provide rapid chamber pump down.
PLC control to give a high degree of flexibility in operation via full colour touch panel graphic screen.
One button operation for automatic pump down of chamber.
Automatic vacuum pressure control for each deposition layer.
Flexible design means the system can be used for zinc, gold, aluminium, copper or silver deposition.
Precise control of deposition current to give excellent fingerprint definition.
Modem remote interrogation for rapid service response/technical support.

Powerful, established Fingerprint Detection Technique based on the interaction of very fine layers of gold and zinc with constituent substances of a fingerprint.

Provide excellent results on flexible or damp substrates such as polythene packaging film, firearms, bottles etc.

Higher sensitivity and detection of approximately 10% more fingerprints than the superglue followed by dyeing process.

The technique can also be used with silver or aluminium for drug wraps, condoms, recycled plastic packaging.

Fast, single treatment process; fingerprints may be photographed immediately after removing exhibit from machine.

Very high quality images with resolution of fine detail including '3rd' level detail of pores and ridge shapes.
